Stuck On A Plane III

The announcement ignored the fact that you pushed this plane with enough fuel to sit on the Tarmac for hours.

You pushed from the gate knowing what was going on. You wouldn’t have the taxi fuel otherwise. You wanted that gate.

And for that, I lose respect for you SWA. You became AA with that move.

  1. Sat at the gate today in Honolulu for about 30 minutes. I was impressed that the pilot came on immediately and explained that he didn’t have the logbook yet, why he didn’t have it, what they were fixing, be how long it would take. He also explained that they were going to try to make up the time and how he was going to do it. He then came back on and told us he got all the clearances and change in flight pan to make up the time. Arrived at ORD on time and with enough time to make our transfer to American Eagle which was in a different terminal. It was going to be tight and without making up the time, we’d still be out there instead of hone dealing with jet lag. Thanks AA!

  2. Whoa. You mean all that happened *and* it was on AA?

Well, let’s give a big shout out to AA for doing The Right Thing.
